CrossBorderProsperity is the core and aim of CrossBorderRelations’ activities. The CrossBorderNetwork, -Academy and Capital come together in Prosperity programmes to accomplish worldwide prosperity. Knowledge sharing, innovation, sustainability and physical as well as mental self-reliance are the key concepts of CrossBorderProsperity. Decades of excessive donations and development aid have not eradicated poverty. On the contrary, has made entire nations physically and mentally dependent. It has deprived people of their creative spirit and coerced them to obtain a submissive attitude. In our Prosperity programmes local partners are in the driver seat and are given access to the (academic) knowledge and capital they have been deprived from for too long. Therefore, they are empowered to set up their own businesses. Thus, prosperity is catalysed at a grass roots level with expertise and the creative minds of the local partners. In other words, local partners are given the necessary tools and support to take their future into their own hands.

The CrossBorderProsperity concept is a natural reaction for restoring the balance between People, Planet, Profit and Pleasure. The result is a liveable world for every citizen in the world.

Currently we have several Prosperity programmes in Suriname, Morocco, Curaçao, and Bonaire. Prosperity programmes for The Netherlands, Cape Verde, Aruba, Turkeyand St Maarten are in the making. The Diaspora living in The Netherlands are an important wing to CBR as they have the inside knowledge to the countries we are active in. They are experts on the cultural differences and know best how to start a programme in their country.
